Mary Ekman Joins the Chicago Websmith Team
Grayslake, IL - Apr 23, 2009Mary Ekman (MBA), former Business Development Manager for Pizzey's Nutritionals and Glanbia, has agreed to join Chicago Websmith in the same role, starting May 4th. Responsible for process improvement, establishing an integrated performance consistency and implementing quality standards, Mary's cross-disciplinary skills are a welcome asset to the company.
"With Mary comes a wealth of knowledge and understanding invaluable to management and relationship building," says John Wondrasek, co-founder of Chicago Websmith. "I look forward to Mary helping us grow our business. We're happy to have her on the team."
Mary will lead the sales and marketing of Chicago Websmith's web-based content management software, WebEditor+, in addition to leading sales for internet projects and web design and development.

Chicago Websmith Launches the New Feature Rich CarolynGable.com Website
Grayslake, IL - Apr 10, 2009Chicago Websmith, a web development firm based in Grayslake, Illinois, launched www.carolyngable.com on April 10th.
Chicago Websmith was hired by New Age Transportation, the company where Carolyn Gable is the CEO and founder. Their objective was to develop a site that matched Carolyn's personality, while promoting her speaking engagements. The new site offers videos, schedules, a photo gallery, articles and so much more.
"The main challenge for this project was to make sure the technology could be managed by Carolyn's in-house staff, who are not web professionals," said Chicago Websmith's co-founder John Wondrasek.
Carolyn's staff uses WebEditor+ to manage the website content, and other back-end interfaces to manage the photo gallery and articles.

Grayslake, IL - Jan 1, 2009John Wondrasek and Steven Ekman recently combined their respective businesses, Wondrasek Creative and Ektech Consulting, to form Chicago Websmith, a new web-based business application development firm. Chicago Websmith provides a full suite of web development services for clients including web-based software, database programming, website development and content management.
"It is our intention to build business applications for every need. Our clients come to us for more than a billboard website. They're looking for an interactive web experience," says John Wondrasek, co-founder. John is responsible for all creative direction and business development.
"We've been working with and creating web-based applications almost since its inception and plan to revolutionize the way people interact with the internet," says Steven Ekman, co-founder. Steven is responsible for all technical aspects of every project.
